چکیده
Objective: The physiological-induced conductive response has been visualised for evaluation in specific muscle compartments under hybrid ( EMS) of electrical stimulation (EMS) and voluntary resistance training (VRT) by impedance tomography (EIT). Methods: In the experiments, tendency conductivity distribution images σ over time was clearly detected three compartments, which are called AM 1 compartment composed biceps brachii muscle, 2 triceps 3 brachialis modalities. Results: From experimental results, increased all modalities with increasing time. Correspondingly, spatial-mean < > 1, 2, conductance value G extracellular water ratio β right arm bio-impedance analysis (BIA) method. addition, EMS greatest effect on , . Under EMS, from pre = 0.154 to 23mins 0.810 n 8, p 0.001); 0.040 0.254 0.05); 0.078 0.497 0.05). Conclusion: paired-samples t -test results suggest most efficient elicitation physiological induced compared VRT EMS. deep ) is slower a significant difference after 15 min training.

Applications of Electrical Impedance Tomography in Neurology
Introduction: Electrical impedance tomography (EIT) is a non-invasive technique utilized in various medical applications, including brain imaging and other neurological diseases. Recognizing the physiological and anatomical characteristics of organs based on their electrical properties is one of the main applications of EIT, as each variety of tissue structure has its own electrical characteris...
متن کاملThe Effects of Resistance Training With and Without Electrical Muscle Stimulation on Body Composition of Obese Women
Background and Purpose: Nowadays, total body resistance exercise has been added to instability training and has become popular for improving health and sports performance. Resistance training is a beneficial way to improve body composition and increase muscle strength. This study aims to evaluate the effect of suspension training (total resistance exercises [TRX]) with and without electrical mu...
متن کاملElectrical impedance of cardiac muscle.
I T HAS long been held that transmission of excitation from cell to cell in cardiac muscle is effected by local-circuit current. Recent electron microscopy" has shown that the myocardium is not a morphological syncytium; the intercalated discs are actually cell boundaries. If the resistances of the disc membranes are high, then local-circuit current transmission is unlikely, and the major possi...
متن کاملA Murine Model of Muscle Training by Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation
Neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) is a common clinical modality that is widely used to restore (1), maintain (2) or enhance (3-5) muscle functional capacity. Transcutaneous surface stimulation of skeletal muscle involves a current flow between a cathode and an anode, thereby inducing excitement of the motor unit and the surrounding muscle fibers. NMES is an attractive modality to eval...
متن کاملDepression of corticomotor excitability after muscle fatigue induced by electrical stimulation and voluntary contraction
In this study, we examined the effect of muscle fatigue induced by tetanic electrical stimulation (ES) and submaximal isometric contraction on corticomotor excitability. Experiments were performed in a cross-over design. Motor-evoked potentials (MEPs) were elicited by transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). Corticomotor excitability was recorded before and after thumb opposition muscle fatigue...
